In 2017 the Club Cup Award, a participation award, was started. The purpose of this award is to encourage members to participate in club activities. One point (2 points for Board member or officer) will be awarded for participating in or contributing to any event/race sponsored the by the club or that is primarily organized and directed by a member of the club. The events will vary from year to year based on club's events (Club Picnic, Bowling night, the Pipestem Pumpkin Run, Kevin O’Sullivan 5K, The Roth Run and club meetings). New events can be added by club agreement at regular meetings. If additional events arise between meetings organizing members may submit a request for recognition to the Board of Directors who will then decide. Awards will be presented to member with the top 10 point totals. Awards will be decided by officers/board. The club secretary will work to record and tabulate attendance at events, however the participating member has the ultimate responsibility for reporting to the secretary.
